Right I told the missus yesterday we are cutting back, I nearly lost my main work contract last week, they only decided to keep me at the last minute the States allowed UK to decide.
You have to be prepared, so.
I am....
1) Cancelling my multi room SKY+ box and movies package and selling that SKY+ box and TV (got £69 for my other SKY+ box on ebay ;D)
2) Cancelling my lovefilm subscription
3) Cancelling Setanta( gutted about that one)
4) We have sacked the cleaner/ironer
5) Cut the supermarket monthly budget by 50%
6) Stopped having weekly baby sitter to go to the gym together
7) Sold so far this month over £300 of goods on ebay, amazing what you can get
8) Cut clothes budget in half, cancelled xmas do for work (hotel and taxi saved)
9) Takeaways and eating out down to once a fortnight.
That should do it for 6 months.
