I know some posters may not like him, but I always thought he was a decent enough pundit. Hope he comes through it.
 
I hoe he pulls through. He's been having his battles but seemed to have been winning.

He was normally almost freakishly polite about everyone, except when medication or drink induced a bizarre rant. He's had health problems for quite a while and I just hope he comes through this.
 
He is the original captain sideways - think he is possibly Modo's inspiration.

Possibly the most overrated player I ever saw in my life, but he's become a good pundit lately after originally being as boring as he was on the pitch, IMO of course.

Pissed me off they kept dumbing them down because of Schoolyard antics

I had immense fun with that in that school playground when I was a teenager
 
As terrible as this is for his family, Ray Wilkins in a Coma sounds like something by Half Man Half Biscuit.
 
I don't consider The Smiths to be a thing, and I like to be reminded of them as much as I like to be reminded that Lucas was here for his entire career.

There was a running joke in Fleet Street about Ray. He was so polite about everyone you'd just choose someone awful and imagine Ray struggling to find positives about him or her, e.g. 'Mr Hitler, yes, hmmm, a rather divisive gentleman...um...not overly pleasant but I'm sure he had his good points...' The latest news doesn't sound good at all but I hope he confounds the predictions, he's one of the better people in the profession.
 
While I'm not arguing about how nice a guy he has been or how polite or how good the Tango adverts were, there is something I think we're overlooking here.

The French flag has the same colours as the union flag. The French also used to have an empire, although they had the decency to chop heads off their royals.
