Mignolet 6. Not much to do. One good save .. which he should have made
Johnson 5. Poor - can play a lot better than this.
Flanagan 7. Defended well. One excellent foray forward.
Sakho 7. Our best defender.
Skrtel 6. Decent game. Sort out the contact on corners though.
Henderson 8. Brought a lot of energy to midfield. 3 assists as he combines very well with Suarez again.
Lucas 7. Tidied up and competed well in the middle.
Allen 6. Some decent play but many second half attacks foundered on his play.
Sterling 8. They couldn't cope with his pace. Should have had a second goal, though.
Suarez 9. Two finishes of absolute class, breaking open a stubborn and tenacious effort from Cardiff.
Coutinho 7. Classy player. A couple of dragged efforts, but featured in much of our best play.
