Ratings: LFC - Hull

Reina 6 - Didn't have much to do except the goal, which was impossible to save.

Johnson 6 - Showed his attacking ability per usual, but lost the ball too many times for my liking.
Carra 7 - Showed some composure in certain situation, back to his best? No. But on his way.
Skrtel 6 - Headed the ball to Giovanni for the goal. Abysmal! But also had some good moments in the game.
Insua 7- Another steady performance. Was involved in the first goal. Didn't do anything spectacular.

Lucas 6 - Worked hard in midfield but was a passenger for most of the game. I want to see more from him.
Gerrard 7 - A "7" might seem low but despite the goal he didn't do too much. Didn't' have the best of games, I've come to expect more from him. The goal wasn't intended as a shot on goal. FACT!

Riera 7 - One assist and one "goal". Can I complain? Yes I can. He needs to stop dribbling in our own area. Lost the ball a couple of times during the game.
Benayoun 7 - Two assists both for Torres goals. He did well. Barely had any chances to score himself.
Kuyt 7 - Worked hard. Missed sitters. Assisted a goal. Nothing unusual.

Torres 10 - Superb performance. What more can I say?

Subs:

Babel 8 - Two goals and a lively performance. Seems to want to prove something to Rafa.
Voronin 7 - Linked well with Babel. Nearly got a goal. Great pass to free Kuyt on the wing for Babel's goal.
Mascherano 6 - Didn't have time to impose himself. The usual shot over the bar, nothing more.

Reina - 7 - Looks very commanding on a few crosses... Love the man.

Insua - 8 - Really developing nicely into a good little player. Seems to have worked on his crossing.
Carra - 7 - Bar the early brainfart, solid as ever. Got forward quite a bit too (for him)
Skrtyl - 6 - Awful header for the goal, and positioning for what might have been a 2nd. Scares me too much for my liking.
Johnson - 6 - Quiet. Outjumped for the goal. Efficient otherwise.

Dirk, Riera, Yossi, Lucas - 7 - Always looking to drive forward, tireless, all played well.
Gerrard - 6 - Ok, so the goal might earn him a 7, but other than that, he was very pedestrian by his standards. (Nice we can win 6-1 without him excelling, huh?)

Torres - 11 - Looked like scoring every time he touched the ball. This type of talent is a once in a generation stuff. We are blessed to have him...

Johnson 6 - Good going forward, ok at the back.
Carra 6 - Made a few mistakes and was at fault for the goal.
Skrtel 6 - Could have done better
Insua 8- Good performance, solid at the back, great going forwards, great future ahead of him.

Lucas 6/7 - Did his job and helped move the ball about, would liked to have seen more though, hitting his chances on target would make him a much better player.
Gerrard 7 -Same as lucas really, just with a wonder goal on top.
Riera 7 - Solid, good outlet and was a handful for the full back, not his best game however.
Benayoun 7 - Not as good as late but still linked well.
Kuyt 7 - Worked hard, played some lovely football with Babel at the end.
Torres 10 - Treated us to 2, possibly even 3 goals that only this man on top form could score, he's magical.

Subs:

Babel 8 - One half of the perfomance was wasteful and clueless, the other half was direct, threatning and linking up well. The second half included two goals as well.
Voronin 6 - The will and desire was there, his skill level let him down on many occasions though
Mascherano 6 - Didn't really do much.

Reina - 7 - Nothing he could do about the goal. Other than that, some good catches and some nice distribution.

Insua - 8 - His best game for us this season I think. In the first half, he saw a lot of the ball on that left hand side and made some really good runs.

Skrtel - 5 - A little bit all over the place.

Carra - 6 - Getting better.

Johnson - 6 - It's a little bit late on in his career to still be making the mistake of needlessly losing the ball near his own goal due to being a little bit flash. Some good attacking play towards the end once Hull were finished, but other than that - average.

Riera - 7 - Is also prone to Johnson like shit in his own half at times. Other than that, a good game today. He combined well with Insua and gave their right side a torrid time. I do wish his end product was a little better though because he does get himself into some great positions.

Lucas - 5 - Anonymous till the last 20mins.

Gerrard - 6 - Nice (flukey) goal, but much like Lucas, didn't help us control the game in the middle of the park enough.

Yossi - 7 - Quieter than he has been of late, but held onto the ball well and made some telling contributions.

Kuyt - 6 - Did okay.

Torres - 10 - Amazing performance.

Babel - 7 - What an enigma. 10mins of looking like he's got no idea where to be, where to run or what to do with the ball when he gets it... then goes and produces two top class touches for a great goal.

Masher - 6 - Okay, I admit it... he's becoming quite Riise like with his shooting now.

Voroning - 6 - Did reasonably well I thought.

Yeah I'd go with much of Keni's assessment however I'd give Johnson & Masher both 6.5 and Voronin a 7 because he was really pulling the strings from deep(er) than the other forwards.
