do you know it is such a shame that Rafa could not adjust his ways to a degree and stubborn attitude towards playing his way. He obviously loves the club and the area, he could have been our greatest manager if he had just realised when he had to change things and play a different way, or when to manage people differently

Class act for what he did there.

Largely agree. The trouble with Rafa is that that stubbornness is hard-wired into him, but he really does "get it" as far as Liverpool is concerned and I'll always be grateful to him for some of our best moments ever.

did anyone see him being interviewed at the grand national, it was really sad as he came across as desperate for any PL to come in for him.

shame considering he got us to two CL finals and 2nd in the league which we should have won.

Can't see him getting a top job, maybe Spurs when Harry joins England in 2012 if he waits.

Maybe QPR when they fuck up the first few months in PL and godshite gets sacked, they should have some cash to splash

I'd be worried if he got the Man Shitty job.
As far as mid table to lower clubs, I'm sure he's had offers and he'll get offers in the summer as well.
He's a highly rated manager. Rightfully so.

Hadn't seen this before now, I couldn't watch the entire service as I didn't get to see the rerun on LFCTV until about 2am our time here. Actually didn't know he was there.

Seeing him shed tears there made my eyes moist too.

Or maybe Liverpool when Kenny steps down.

Benitez's record in football and character away from it should command huge respect.

He's a Liverpool man through and through.

Not as long as FSG own the club, would be my guess. They'll prefer a younger man to replace the King, and I doubt they'd go for any manager with Rafa's record of falling out with his employers.
