Essentially she's been a leader in Spokane's NAACP movement and an advocate on race issues.
However her parents have come out and confirmed she's white and has for years been trying to identify herself as black.
Another source pointed out she once sued an employer for discrimatnion towards her as a white woman. Leaving aside the fact that there's a good chance she has some issues.
If she wants to identify herself.as black should she be able to do so?
We allow men and women to identify themselves as either men or women - Bruce Jenner being the main high profile recent example so why not.black as white and vice versa?
