I know there's a few on here who've quit over the last few months, me included. Wondering how people are getting on with it, really, what's the best way to go about it etc. For me:
I've smoked for about 10 years, but for the last 7 or so been very much a light smoker - probably no more than 2 or 3 a day on average after periods of abstinence are factored in. When I stopped this time I was probably on 5 a day or so. First I used one of those e-cigarettes (thanks Jon Fox!) and still had the occasional smoke on top, but after a month or so i managed to break the charger, and instead of getting it fixed I decided to just stop altogether. That must've been at least 4 months ago and I've not had one since. (Btw would defo recommend the e-cigs. At the very least they'd help anyone just cut down a bit)
Got to say what finally made me stop was the price rise in the budget. It's just fucking ridiculous, getting on for £8 a packet now.
So how are you lot getting on?
