Pumpkin Recipe

So I did our Halloween pumpkin yesterday and didn't want to waste the internal flesh so decided to make a soup. Turned out to be delicious so I'm sharing it with you peeps. So I roasted the pumpkin flesh in casserole dish with loads of olive oil a handfull of garlic cloves and a large onion cut into chunks. Over this was sprinkled a good bit of garam masala powder. After 30-40 mins or so (the pumpkin has become pulpy, the garlic roasted) then put the mixture into some simmering chicken stock, and add a bit more garam masala if you think it needs more spice. Simmer for 20 minutes until the onion has gone soft. Then get a hand blender in there and give it a good blitz. Pass it through a sieve to get rid of any solids and give it a good press through the sieve to make sure you get as much of the good stuff in there as possible. You should be left with an absolutely delicious, velvety, spicy soup.
