I would change formation to 4-4-2 and take out Mane and Ronaldo for Son and Rodri. Don’t think it’s been a particularly great campaign for any attackers except Salah and Son - midfielders made all the difference.

Not sure who I'd change for Ronaldo. He scored the goals (which got him in there) but is less mobile than a tortoise on speed.

I remember when Virgil was out with a lengthy injury while at Soton and there was a bit of uncertainty about if he'd be able to keep up while at LFC with the increased intensity etc.
He then went on to be physically assaulted on the pitch, out for a looooong time with the ACL injury and walks back into the team of the season when he returns.

There’s a case for Son & Kane instead of Mane & certainly Ronaldo.

If Virg and Rudiger are both pegged for the left CB role, then it’s Virg … Diaz or Laporte maybe for the right … there’s probably even a case for Matip.

I could be persuaded that Declan Rice should be in the conversation for the DM role - and Fabs is probably in that conversation too, if Rodri is in it.

Hard to argue with anything else to be fair, I guess Thiago could be Fabinho or Rodri and one of the CBs could be Laporte but there's not a lot in it really

I also think Bowen had the type of season that would usually warrant an inclusion but tough luck when you have to compete with Salah and Son
