just LOL@ Nemanja Vidic, Hyppia for me. Close between Vieira and Scholes, if that team was actually going to play a real game, it would be Vieira for me, as a Gerrard-Scholes pairing = Scholes is getting sent off for one of his poor tackles. And I agree with Rosco re: Shearer, this is the team of 00's not 90's, it would be Henry for me.

Other than that, you can't much argue with that team, I think. Maybe Gary Neville was too oft-injured?
 
I'm half surprised God-like Rooney isn't in there.

Between Cole and Evra it's few and far between.

Vidic?? Are they having a laugh? Hyypia, Ferdinand and even Carvalho deserve to be in there ahead of him.

Henry should be in there before Shearer. The midfield is probably just about right though.

I would have Henry for Shearer.

Not too bothered with A.Cole over Evra, I think he deserves it.

Vidic and Terry are debatable though.

He's in there because, good player though he is, he's also been one of the most consistently overhyped throughout the 10 years in question.

I dont get the 'wtf Vidic' stuff, hes fucking brilliant. They have won 4 league titles, 3 league cups, 1 European cup and been in 2 more finals in the 5 years he has been there. He has a different partner every week and still hes in the Barclays team of the year every single year (and he scores a few crucial goals). I wish we had a CB that overrated.

I don't think he is overrated. He's excellent, every knows that. At least I thought they did. He deserves it over Terry anway.
 
It's idiotic that Sami isn't in there. I'd certainly drop Terry before Vidic, but I wonder how many of those voting would say the same.

Seriously though not sure bout Van der Sar he wasn't all that at Fulham sure he has been excellent the last two seasons but Given and Cech should be ahead of him.
 
Reina is a better GK than Van der Sar. The only reason he's not in there is because we've won fuck-all since he came to us.
 
What about Scholes? Again he was probably better in the 90's, but he's in my opinion he's second only to Gerrard in this generation's English players.
 
Id have Henry instead of Shearer...just by a hair mind you. The rest of the team is spot on imo, none of our folk with the exception of Gerrard should be in there......cept maybe Pacheco 8)
 
Campbell over Vidic... he was a rock during Arsenals 'invincible' season. Henry over Drogba.

Those are probably the only two changes I'd make.

Agree. And, if I recall correctly, we were in for him but United moved decisively and we bought Skrtel instead. No offense intended to Martin, but we got scooped hard.
