There's no point overreacting. There's huge amounts of quality to come back into this team and we have a world class manger and backroom team to fix this.

However we have to accept this is going to be a transitional season with one eye on the future and a need to start phasing out some of the old guard. Many of the players cannot run as hard or as fast as they used to, and do not have elite level technique to compensate. We should have been more proactive in addressing this, but what's new.

We also should accept that not investing in the midfield is as much of a risk as not investing in a CB a few years ago and could prove really damaging.

Just look at his record, where he has opened Prem match threads we have lost very few games. When he went on strike we struggled last season.

Klopps substitutions were way too late. Fabinho and Carvalho should have been on much earlier.

Nah - the squad is good enough to win against these kind of teams.
We're not suddenly a team that won't compete for top 4.
We just have to shift our goals for the season, and work our a plan next season to go again.
Shit happens.
We had a good run. Didn't win enough but it is what it is.
