Working from home in a west facing 2nd floor flat, as soon as The Lying Rag comes out the panic about the constant 30c temperatures I'll be faced with for the rest of the year begins. Answer to this of course is to grab a portable aircon unit, which I plan to do, the issue is though that bellway installed possibly the most idiotic windows in existence in these flats, basically they only open from the top, opening maybe 3 inches max, and they're also inside a recess, meaning getting an exhaust pipe out them is impossible as the gaps far too small.
So, huge long shot this, I was wondering if anyone might know a bit about portable aircons and know of any units which either have smaller exhaust pipes, or maybe adapters at the end which can thin them out to fit through smaller windows / gaps, instead of them being one giant round 5inch hole.
If not, I'm truly fucked come May.
