They don't have a manager sorted. They have a massive wage bill and lazy shit that saw them relegated. They have atrocious defending, both individually and as a team.
There is a freeze on anyone really addressing any of this until a sale is made, but even at 100M, Newcastle's opened books seem to make for caution.
It really is a clusterfuck there, and there's no reason to see it abating.

Who is responsible for coaching the team and managing the friendlies right now? Is Alan Shearer still in charge?
It's funny how things have worked out for Shearer, someone who previously seemed to be in a position of power to make demands. He's now been relegated with the team and is waiting like a lapdog to see whether he can remain in charge.
