Whilst some of you are getting your knickers in a twist over Owen scoring a couple of goals this pre-season, I think this is fuckin fantastic news for us.

With every goal the cunt slots home, Fergie will be more convinced that he doesn't need any more re-enforcements to his strike force. The media are doing us a big favor massaging Fergie's ego, telling him his move was genius. We all know Owen's strengths and weaknesses, his hot and cold patches. It's only a matter of time before he breaks down again.

Lads, scum are nowhere near good enough to win the league this season. Go back and review last season's games (or the season before) where Ronaldo was out of their team. They were toothless cunts scraping by on 1-0 wins.

Yes, we've all written them off in the preceding years when they lost their star talent; but this time it's different.

As is, I'm 100% confident their name will not be on the League trophy come next May.

I don't Owen scoring two goals against some part timers is indicative of anything.Im worried that he'll stay fit for the majority of the season though and score a fair few.

RE them not being good enough, that's dangerous speak. They'll still play decent football and have decent players and will ultimately still finish there or there abouts come next season.

I quite expect Owen to have a very good couple of months when the season starts. That's always when he's sharpest. But even though Ginsoak will happily accept the praise he'll get for 'reviving' Owen's career, he'll know deep down that the gamble won't have paid off unless Owen's still doing it in May. It just can't be a coincidence that Owen passed medicals before signing for Newcastle and before going off to the World Cup and still broke down. One-off medicals aren't his problem. Staying fit is his problem. We'll know the first tell-tale signs sooner than the mancs.

I don't think Fergson's thoughts on a player is swayed just by what the media say. All great gaffers are stubborn and that includes not taking into comfort what the media say.
