How ace would it be to have Blackpool in the Premiership?
[/quote]

Too right.

I fucking HATE Cardiff too.

Why Bren?
Genuine question from an OOT'er.

Poor old Forest.

Twice in 3 years they've fallen at this point in a play-off.

Hey ho !

I am on it. With less than 60 seconds to go.

Fuck off with your Coronation St and other shite you whore.

hahahaha.

Because Blackpool is an endearingly crap north-west seaside town, with fond memories for many of us from visits to the 'Lights'

Because they're an endearingly crap team, with about 6000 fans

Because their manager is endearingly mental

Because their kit is *orange*

Because they've come from almost nothing & nowhere to the verge of the Premiership within a few years.

Magical football story. Only happens in England.

I figured it was something to do with childhood memories.
We'd have a Mosney XI in Ireland!!

Hopefully they make it up so, rather them than Leicester fo sho.
Cardiff are a decent team.

Cardiff are cunts. And their fans are fucking hateful.

Superb. My tiny little bet just to have an interest in the game was £3 @ £48/1 on Forst to be winning at half time and Blackpool to win the match!! Very unexpected bonus.

Blackpool's capacity is 10,000, they will make Burnley look like Barca. Good man Olly.

Soccer / Nottm Forest v Blackpool : Half Time/Full Time 11-May-10 19:45 11-May-10 21:46 134.23

Lovely stuff Pesam.

Cheers LNM.

Another thing about Olly is that this Blackpool team is made up largely of lower league journey-men like Baptiste, Evatt, Taylor-Fletcher, Vaughan, Ormerod etc with a Rangers reject (Adam) and a kid on loan from Everton. It takes a very good manager (alchemist) to select this array of disgarded talent and gel them into a possible Premier League team.

I'm looking forward to the League 2 playoffs in the next week or so. Aldershot facing Rotherham in their Semi. Apart from LeFondre they looked average to me when the came to The Rec but he is a very good league 2 forward and could cause some damage.

The key for Aldershot IMO is Dean Morgan and John Halls both starting. Halls has been injured most of the season but is a very assured CM and the team plays well with him orchestrating things whilst Dean Morgan just has too much quality for this level and I expect him to be a constant problem for the Rotherham defense.

Still not prepared to splash the cash on these play off matches so 2 more very small bets just for giggles. £3 on Wellens 1st goalscorer at 65/1 and £3 on Mark Hudson at 55/1.

It's the most difficult playoff 4-some to predict ever Bristow emphasised by the fact that there was 1 point between all 4 teams. It's also one of the weakest playoffs I've seen at this level with all 4 teams looking less than convincing.

You might as well toss a coin to decide the Morecambe v Daggers game as they're so evenmy matched but I'll go for The Daggers as they have Benson up front and a lad called Danny Green on the right of midfield who I suspect will go a long way.

I think Aldershot are marginally the best of the 4 teams and with Marvellous Marvin and his namesake Dean Morgan up front they should beat Rotherham and win the final.

Cardiff well on top but Leicester have just scored on the break to equalise an early Chopra goal 1-1 (2-1 to Cardiff on agg).

All square 2-3 on the night 3-3 on aggreate. Two great nights of Championship playoff and so far 12 goals between last nights game and this one!
