Brendan's latest rating thread made me wonder how much difference there is in people's opinions of which players are most important to the squad.
Would be interesting to see everyone's ratings of our current bunch from top to bottom
1. Coutinho - close with him and Mane but I think he dictates play more and can still be effective in comprsssed spaces
2. Mane - three games if you include City without him, zero wins says it all. It's so vital he stills fit for season if we want to compete for anything
3. Salah - toss up between him and Firmino but I think his pace and directness are more vital and harder to replace when's not in. Needs to finish more chances but already looks indespencible
4. Firmino - for all his shortcomings in front of goal he plays the no9 role better than Sturridge in our current set up and works his socks off while linking play well.
5. Matip - while none of defenders are what I'd call excellent or undroppable, he probably comes closest based on his competition
6. Henderson - not much competiton sadly
7. Lovren - purely based on the alternative
8. Clyne - his absence has maybe reminded some how much we took him for granted. Needs to improve his end product but his defending is usually excellent
9. Gini - probably in the minority but id have him in the side ahead of Can everyday.
10. Ming - again due to the rubbishness of the alternative
11. Milner - sadly still the best left back at the club
12. Can - shows how thin our squad
13. Sturridge
14. TAA
15. Woodburn
16. Gomez
17. Robertson
18. Ox
19. Solanke

. 47 Moreno - fuck I hate seeing but his name on the team sheet
Oh I forgot Lallana he's prob no 12 for me
