Who will win the Golden Boot this season? How many will the best strikers score in the league? Make your predictions here. To help you out, here's last season's top 10 (league goals only):

A lot depends on injuries etc, but here's my guess for this season:

= Darren Bent 15
8 Steven Gerrard 14
= Frank Lampard 14
10 Andrei Arshavin 13


with Tevez, Berbatov, Owen, Kuyt, Robinho, Carlton Cole, Agbonlahor etc all scoring 12 or less...
 
If Torres stays fit, he'll get it.

He's played with a face like a slapped arse throughout August, yet still scores goals.
 
I think the top 10 will contain the following players in no particular order

Fernando Torres
Didier Drogba
Robin Van Persie
Emmanuel Adebayor
Jermaine Defoe
Wayne Rooney
Darren Bent
Steven Gerrard
Nicolas Anelka
Robinho
 
I'd say Rooney is going to nick it this year.
I'd love Nando to do it but I think he is going to miss too many games through injury.

5 in 5 is a great start all the same Bunny. 4 in the league.
I hope I am wrong but if he plays as first CF fro them , he will score a lot.
With the amount of chances they create at home someone like Marlon Harewood would bang them in!!

2 of his 4 league goals were peno's.

He's not prolific and I guarantee he will not finish within 3 goals of the top scorer let alone be the leagues top scorer.

Maybe not Harewood, but I take your point: Andy Cole was living proof of that. But Rooney is not the kind of striker who spends all his time getting on the end of moves: he's often involved deeper in the moves. Same applies to Berbatov really. The only out-and-out goalscorer they've got is The Cunt, and his form and fitness will prevent him scoring too many IMO. I'm just praying Ferguson/Glazer doesn't see sense before the transfer window closes by forking out for David Villa or someone.

Saw Drogba a little bit in pre-season and he looks on his game. I'm thinking we might see a big season from him and Anelka this year. Defoe is also on fire right but we'll have to see if he and Spurs can keep it up.

If Torres stays fit and we stop playing like ass, I think he'll nick it though.

Drogba looks motivated and interested again this season. Torres when fit will continue to score and Rooney will just fall a few goals short of the other two.

it actually does, you see it should be:

torres 21
arshavin 19
drogba 17
anelka 17

although i think arshavin will finish top goalscorer... torres has to be #1 because he plays for liverpool even though i doubt he will get 21 goals this season

The grumpy blonde god will score greater than 25 if he remains fit. He is just slowly getting back into groove and I cannot wait for the cocky smiling god to come back.
 
Torres will win it easily can he stay clear of injuries.

Arshavin to come in second isn't a bad shout either.
