That might have been prompted by a request by Inter, I.e. we want x amount up front etc hence a new bid.

True, but as it has already been said, it's not as though we 're paying downing/henderson fees. It sounds like we're not miles off a deal, so can see why we may haggle, but when in the grand scheme of things it seems like 500k-1m is all the difference, I'd rather the club stump up the cash if BR really wants him. We don't want another Dempsey moment
