Phil Brown

That's been slightly overplayed, but it was a bit silly.

But he was a fucking cunt well before that happened

I hate the head on him, so cant really be objective about him, although he comes accross as a lucky manager rather than a good one

F'cking mini-Allardyce. I've nothing against Hull as a club but I was hoping they'd go down because of him.
[/quote]

That's pretty much my thoughts on him and the club as well.

If he doesn't ditch that ludicrous Amstrad microphone he ought to get a slap. That's the most idiotic phenomenon of the decade. And is that a bad fake tan or a lavatorial mishap all over his face?

Quite apart from his obnoxiousness, I can't believe no one on here rated him around Xmastime. Hull's start in the PL was amazing. Maybe it *was* just luck? John Gregory, David O'Leary and Paul Jewell looked like brilliant managers too, at certain points in their careers. I guess Brown's second PL season will define him.

He's looking a bit like the new Alan Pardew: gets a good side together, makes a big impact then seems to lose the dressing room and lose the plot. Except that Pardew seemed to be a bit more obviously tactically aware in the early days.

Christ, he's not that bad.

Imagine their season had been played out the other way around; they lose their first 1, then go on a remarkable run and stay up by one point - he'd be hailed a fucking magician.

He's kept his largely shite side in the League, so he can obviously manage.

8 points in 20 games and getting humped by Utd's reserve team on the final crunch game of the season is still pretty atrocious though.

I don't know how good or bad a manager he is - I just can't stand the guy. He loves himself far too much.

Swings and roundabouts though Ken. He went to Arsenal and won earlier in the season, and had them in the top 6 for half the season.

He hit a bad patch when teams figured them out, and didn't have good enough players to adjust.

I'm not a big fan of his personality either, but he's obviously a capable manager. That he took a side like Hull into the League in the first place is testament enough.

I'm curious, how does his tan (if you can call it that) compare to Mark's?

He's not a particularly likeable chappy but he's done a remarkable job keeping Hull City in the Premier League and deserves a lot of praise for doing so.

Is the right answer. People need to realise Hull have had one season in their 105 year history in the top flight and hes managed to keep them up for a 2nd. Its a wonderful achievement.

the ear piece thing is weird. his players don't have one so he isn't talking to the players, he is only allowed to make three changes in a game. so exactly who is he talking to, and about what exactly?

Ultimately yes, it has been (though Brown did his best to p!ss it away in the second half of the season), but no-one's doubting that. In any case, the second season's often harder for a team which does manage to stay up. Let's see how he and his players have done this time next year.

He's one of those people in football who have a certain look about them that suggests, when they come out of the loo, they always have to say, 'I'd leave it half an hour if I were you...'

Others on this list: Paul Scholes, Gary Megson, Sam Allardyce and Richard Dunne.

He's a class-a wankspanner.
I just hate how fucking endsleigh he is. Half time talks on the pitch? Singing to the crowd? ITS THE PREMIER LEAGUE YOU FUCKING JEB! not some fucking hackney marsh kickabout. Show some fucking class with your shitty little beard, your janet jackson rhythm nation headset and your goggle eyed fake made up tango ass. Bet the cunt wears a thong.

Im even more dismayed that fucking wonker nose, white rose perma-moaning miserable cunt Mcarthy is coming back next year with his whiney nasal apathy.
