I was a bit bored so had a quick look on the BM website and stumbled on a post that made me laugh and feel sorry for them at the same time.

Time to stop 11 men in the box?

Basically, someone posted that maybe some football legislation should be bought in to stop 11 men in the box, and obviously this page was created after they lost the CL final.

I've seen some posts in my time but this just takes the biscuits lol

Poor plucky little City - everything’s always stacked against them.

How are they coping with their legendary striker saying Barca are clearly the biggest team in the world? 😀

How could you even enforce that to begin with? Is the ref supposed to keep an eye on the action while counting the number of players in the box?

Use the basic rule of thumb for Blue Moonies - if City score, no issue - if the opposition score, they’ve clearly broken the rules.

The term "entitled" gets bandied around a lot these days, but has there ever been a group of people more deserving of it than Citeh fans?

BTW, if it's true that Guardiola - for all the success that's followed his appointment - was bought principally to win Bigears, how long will he get to do it?

In fairness when I looked at the thread most were saying it's a dumb idea.

I too tire of watching games against the likes of Burnley where it's a stubborn defence vs a frustrated attack for 90mins but it's a symptom of the huge disparity between the top and the bottom in this (and most) leagues... so whatcha gonna do.

They love to rewrite their very short history too. It was bad enough with Chelsea, becoming relevant when they did prompted a complete dismissal of anything that was won by anyone, pre the re-branding of the English Leagues. These cunts will literally stop at nothing, including complete reimagining of the rules of the game, to suit their narrative.

So basically this fucking idiot thinks it's illegal that teams don't give them a guard of honour all the way to the goal. Maybe he thinks it's disrespectful that we don't knock it in the back of the net for them too.

as per utd fans keep harping as if football started with premier league until they won more top league title than us, followed by chelsea fans.

and now citeh fans.

For me the pitch needs to be made bigger and the penalty area smaller. Blanket defence and getting it to a couple pace babies on the break just so much easier and more effective to set up. Footballers much fitter than years ago with Leicester and Liverpool style "supplements", it's easier than ever to control the game with having none of the ball.
Even peak Barca with Messi/Xavi/Iniesta couldn't create against Chelsea's wall. Every time they try to change to a more expansive style it's a shambles, appoint another defence-first manager an win something in short order
any team that not name manchester city that win premier league since 2011 use dope.

how dare leicester and liverpool not let the bestest team ever to win the title in 2015/2016 and 2019/2020 eh.

Absolutely- I haven’t seen a bunch of supporters and team go from “we’re just happy to be here” to ”how dare anyone stand in the way of the bestest team ever that weally, weally, weally should win everything”.

At least Chelsea were utter c**ts before they got rich.

Hasn't it always been that way though, that the lesser teams do a backs-to-the-wall job on the bigger teams? I agree about disparity, but the beauty of the game and how you find great up and coming managers is from them being able to work with the resources they have and do a job when up against it. There are a fair few teams who play the big sides at their own game and work with a quick attack while packing men behind the ball and hoping for a lucky break. It's more frustrating watching the likes of Mourinho produce expensive sides and then totally neglecting the quality of great attacking players, in favour of boring the life out of the game.
