Alexandre Pato’s agent has admitted contact with Paris Saint-Germain, but underlined that Milan will decide the player’s future.
The French giants have been linked with a €50m bid for the striker after he admitted to problems with Rossoneri boss Massimiliano Allegri earlier this week.
The links only intensified after reports emerged that the player’s representative, Gilmar Veloz, met with PSG director Leonardo this week.
“Yes, we met in Paris,” Veloz told Le 10 Sport in an interview. “But Leonardo is my friend and he received me as such.
“It's one thing to come and see a friend who works at Paris SG and another to see a sporting director…
“Did we talk about Pato? You know, we work in football so we talked about football. We are not in the film industry and I do not work with actors.
“We talked about current events, players, Pato and Paris too. However, Pato has a contract with Milan and, for better clarification on his future, you would have to ask his employer.
“I'd be the wrong party. Alexandre Pato has a contract and it is Milan who decide.”
Pato, 22, is liked by officials in France given that Leonardo helped the Rossoneri sign him. He also bossed him with the Rossoneri.
PSG are expected to announce Carlo Ancelotti, another tactician who worked with Pato at San Siro, as their new Coach at some stage over the next few days.
Ancelotti will reportedly sign a contract until 2014, worth somewhere in the region of €6m per campaign.
