well it wasn't at the end of last season, why don't you wait for some competitive games before completely writing us off for the season.
 
Does it matter?
We had our best season in 21 years last season. I'll start worrying about how pretty we play when we've won a league or two again.
 
We shouldn't be flapping about the preseason.

My only concern is that Rafa returns to rotating the squad like he did in the first half of last season. We were excellent in the second half when we named a virtually unchanged team every week.

Your memory's as bad as spidey's. There was no rotation at all in the first dozen games, and our record after that period was won 10, drawn 2, lost 0.

without starting a new alonso thread I'm wondering if alonso is largly responsible for making us play flowing football and will we lose that ability when he is removed from the team.

He was good as any but the movement of the front 2 was the biggest factor for me.
Alonso wants to go, we need to get over it and sign a replacement. Few decent names available, we should buy one and move on. If we give the replacement time, then over the season I reckon he can become a better player for LFC.
 
We played the best football out of all the teams in the league, shame we were not the most consistant.

I'm surprised Rashid never got a permanent ban over there. They seem to have tolerated him for years now.

I think you'll find that a queue of other 'stalkers' formed in this thread to suggest it was shite before I came along. Perhaps they're also obsessed by you.
 
going back to the pass and move, yes at the end of the season we were playing some truly beautiful stuff but there was some awful stuff as well, well I remember the majority of people on here wanted rafa out especially in the games after stoke away and games up to the m'bro away game.
It was a thread to get a conversation going in an extremely dull summer and that's all, better to wait for threads started by super duper posters.
