So the wife talked me into a weekend trip to Paris. We're planning to go in late April.

I've never been there so I've no plan.

Does anybody have any recommendation of where to stay? There are so many hotels to choose from that I'd be happy about some personal experience. Obviously somewhere near city center would be nice.

I'm aware of all the must-sees but maybe somebody has got some inside tips?

Any help would be appreciated.
