Agreed. A very good player (one of a number of smart signings by Redknapp Senior), but he's well bedded in at Tottenham now and would cost silly money.

Didn't take much notice till I actually saw him play live and I was very impressed. Excellent player. I thought Spurs paid a lot for him but it's exactly what they needed. He was steel, mobility and intelligence.

Admittedly my first like for him was purely based on him saving my arse in FM a few years ago, however after watching him play the last year, I friggin love him.

Unfortunalty he plays for Tottenham and there elevated sense of self worth means we wouldn't get him for anything short of a bomb.
