DM option? Only 30.. He could keep Aurelio and Agger company..
[/quote]

Why? What's the point?

He would be a sensational option for us - if he could ever get on the field.

There are certainly better out there but on a free he would be good value so long as you discount the fact he makes Kewell and Aurelio look like men of steel.

The idea of Hargreaves in the DM position is nice but I think the reality would be an indirect wage payment to the club physio's. No thanks.

Ha, I just said this to the Man Utd fan I work with. I'd love to sign him on a free, on low wages, one year contract.

It would be awesome if Utd spend years paying for his treatment and now we benefit when he's fit.

I've always really liked Hargreaves

If we could get him for £5.90 an hour I'd stick him in the pie shops in the Main Stand as they're always short of staff.

Exactly, I remember in his debut season him having some fantastic games.. a Pay-as-you-play deal with us will give him another shot at a big club and a chance to win some silverware..

Plus he plays for Manchester United. No thanks.

Finally

Even Owen Hargreaves would pass our medicals.

He'd probably leave in a wheelchair after stretching mind.

It would be insane to offer him a contract.

No thanks.

It would be humiliating.

Not if he stayed fit and played well it wouldn't. Joke would be on Man Utd that way

Probability of this: Extremely low. So the joke would be on us. Again.

Should snap him up. Just to give Agger and Aurelio encouragement.

"See, you could've been worse. You could've been him!"

Having said that, Degen didn't do the trick though.

Didn't realize there was this many crackheads on these forums. Put the pipe down, drugs (the hard ones like that anyway) are bad mmmmkay.

While we're at it, maybe we could persuade Gary Neville to come out of retirement with a pay as you play contract offer

Quite, it's a pretty remarkable thread.
