Listen, there still seems like a lot of work to do - and some of it in the transfer market - to ensure that we have the proper cover and depth to challenge on multiple fronts. But it does seem that we are finally moving in a positive direction. I’m starting to feel much more confident about Karius, that Thor-looking motherfucker. Clyne’s back and looking decent. TAA is only getting better. As you say, Robertson is looking very good. van Dijk is great. Question marks over Lovren, Matip, Klavan - shows you where we need money spent. I think that this summer we go for a CB, a DM, and a striker. If we do, I calling it early. We win the league, the FA Cup and the second European Cup in succession.

Although I agree with you, I swear to god we’ve been saying we need a CB, DM and striker for the last 10 years, it’s like every summer.

Neither Robertson or Virgil is that much of a surprise and with Clyne back we should tighten up further. But Im happy to admit Im amazed by the improvement in Karius

Never in a million years did I think Robertson would be such a good all rounder, helping our attackers out so much in defence. I thought he’d be solid in defence but my goodness me, he’s done amazingly under Klopp.
