But still , you can tell just hes a class act. TBC whether having De Bruyne so deep to facilitate him further up the pitch will pay off...
 
Man City is playing a very midfield oriented 4-3-3 – more like 2-7-1 or 3-6-1 in practice. Mendy and Danilo are playing very high upfield, the midfield is Fernandinho, De Bruyne and David Silva, with one of them (usually Fernandinho, but often De Bruyne) dropping in between the 2 centre-backs. Bernardo Silva and Sterling both come infield to leave space for the full-backs, and they don't stay very far forward, so they are more midfielders than strikers. Typical Guardiola – lots of numbers in midfield, exposed back line, isolated striker.

Sterling will be suspended for the match against us after the international break. Clever git.
 
Ake had a pretty horrible game BTW. Not comfortable with his weaker foot, could have been sent off in the 1st half, misses Jesus's run for the 1st goal, missed several crosses. Maybe CB is not his position.
