That's the crux of it for me. The same players who could barely even be bothered to break a sweat are now running through walls for Kenny.

It's f***ing sickening and they've cheated Hodgson out of his job. They've also cheated their own fans but they're too f***ing thick to even realise it.

--------------

Seems to be the general consensus about Hodgson's time at LFC. I completely disagree of course but I wonder why they have this view on it. A lack of respect?

I remember my brother telling me, when Rafa left, that Hodgson would be a better option than Dalglish.

You might wonder why lurk around at other fan sites. I'm probably not alone, but I think it's fun to read other fans opinions on events that occur at Liverpool, transfers, match results, refereeing decisions etc.

The quote above is from http://www.newcastle-online.org, a NUFC fan site.
Redcafe and bluekipper (until they closed it off) are other interesting sites.

newcastle hate us so it doesnt' surprise me they empathize with our useless former manager. Just because they struggle to find a manager for more than a week

6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

I said at the time I was under the impression that certain people inside the club engineered Roy's departure.

Although at the same time, I think the Clarke factor has played a big part in the players playing better football and Secondly, who wouldn't break their balls to play for the King?

One is a club legend and a football legend, the other a moany old man who's achieved nothing much, anywhere, ever.

There are a few too many variables to be sure but I'd suggest that yes, there was an element of booting woy out of the club asap.

I don't know if I would have considered using Fernando had David Ngog been fit. But he isn't and, having had a chat with Fernando, I think he'll enjoy it. It's not as if he'll be playing with a bunch of also-rans. I'm not asking him to play in the reserves.

The Sheik's got this spot on.

As if THEY can say fuck all about giving managers a fair shake.

Ha !

*facepalm*

Most Utd fans I know think we treated Roy terribly.

In fairness the players effort does seem to have trebled since KK took over.

Of course they would, wouldn't they?

It seems that way but most of our players are foreign and they barely knew who Dalglish was.
Personally I think it's a combination of man management and positive football that led to the turn around.
One thing I've not seen Dalglish do is speak negatively about certain players in the press unlike Hodgson.

AND Kenny doesn't look look like Thatcher's spitting image puppet.

LOL

probably not as as significant but i supsect that Geordies, of all people, are least likely to accept that 'Kenny done good'.

'What Newcastle fans think' is right beside 'What Dreambeliever thinks' for me to be honest.

Arf!

Speaking of what you "think"... Still think you want Mourinho over King Kenny?

He's making it harder each week isn't it.

Love KK, but i was in the wait and see, camp. Now, I'm two games away from certainty 😉. West Ham and Wigan were a bit alarming in fairness. Can he motivate the lads for the lesser games? Or is this just part and parcel of the rennovation? Two steps forward, one step back etc.
