Oh my Lord that dummy that David Silva just threw out to set up City's 2nd is worth a thread on it's own.

Someone get a vine of that shit. I fucking heart David Silva so much.

City go through to the last 16.

Didn't see it in the highlights but that Nasri strike was incredible - unstoppable. He's really taken his game to the next level at City - one of the top attacking midfielders in the world.

You're joking,right?

Think that's pretty over the top mate. He's been nothing really special at City - in fact he's not really regained the form he showed at Arsenal and plenty of talk as to whether City want to keep him..

The strike, however, was unbelievable. He'd done basically nothing prior to that but the strike was enormous and, given the gravity of how much it meant to City, is hard to overestimate. Dare I say it had overtones of Gerrard's strike ten years ago. I can't see City replicating that - they've got too many problems in Europe but was still a truly amazing strike.

He's become a far better 'team player' (i.e. he actually will track back). I am almost positive he's amongst the top distance guys on the team, just behind Milner. He's the creative pulse with SIlva, and he chips in with goals. He's been doing for City what I hope Lallana will do for us consistently.
