We don't have any fixtures coming up that scare us as much as WHL (we always get beaten there lately)

Our next run of games are

Southamton (H)
West Ham (A)
Villa (H)
Fulham (H)
Stoke (A)
QPR (A)
Sunderland (H)

We can look to really push for maximum points in most if not all these games with real belief and then hopefully boster the squad in Janurary. Our next big game in the league isn't until Janurary with the Scum away after this run of games.

well after the chelsea game it was pointed out by a few that on paper our next 10 games was alot easier than our first 11 . We're 3 into that with 4 points so nothing special . We really could do with kicking on in these next few games , by the end of it we'll be more than half way through the season .No excuses , it's a manager's job to manage difficulties, do a good job and get results . Is that too much to ask ?

We have the potential to drop points all over the place with that fixture list! Namely:

West Ham (A)
Villa (H)
Fulham (H)
Stoke (A)
QPR (A)

It's extremely hard to judge without knowing when Lucas will come back in & how long it will take him to get up to speed.

Not only will that close that huge space that teams are exploiting it will mean Allen can play further up the pitch & replicate some of that Swansea form.

I'm not trying to say Lucas is the best player in the world but he makes the quick pass when needed & can protect the defence, that will mean Allen will receive the ball quicker & the rest of the attackers will be able to take advantage of the quicker ball & be available for a pass.

Allen could do with a rest before Lucas returns too, he's mentally & physically tired at the minute, & it shows.

Largely agree, particularly with the thought that Lucas's return will help, but can Allen at 22 really be tired after just 14 games?

Southamton (H) - 3 points
West Ham (A) - 0 - carrol will probably score abar 5 goals
Villa (H) - 3
Fulham (H) - 1
Stoke (A) - 0
QPR (A) - 3
Sunderland (H) - 3

13 points, not too bad

I think it's easy to say that, but he's playing for a new club at much higher profile with all the pressure that brings, has moved house & city & on top of that all is playing a new position with players around him who on current form wouldn't have got nearby Swansea side Allen came from.

The mental effect of all that combined must be fucking tiring.
