Seeing the picture of the LFC team from the 70's reminded me of this website I came across a while ago. I'm sure the older posters in particular will get a kick out of it and it will bring back many memories.

I can't remember where on the site I found the team photo's for the top division for 1972/73 (but I'm sure you can find it if ye look) it's quite startling to see no sponsorship and no black faces!

Found it.......under issuer A-K, click on Daily Mirror and then in the section MY CLUB click on Division 1 Team Gallery, there's some very young looking current managers there too.

Portly, Vlad, JJ anyone else collect these beauties? I bought 2 complete sets of them from ebay a few years ago and got one framed and it looks superb hanging in my hallway.
