How on earth did she (or the people who told her about it) come to that conclusion in the first place?

Surely anyone with half a brain cell could tell why the author referred to Man U as manure....

Fuck off, the Mirrors been inundated with angry emails, and shes been told to apologise is my take on it, they had a big dip in newspaper sales on Merseyside after the Racist headline I'd bet and don't want to lose any more....
 
She may well have been told to do it, but surely she'd have said it more briefly if she was doing it against her will.
