...for Suarez, Caroll, Kelly, Pacheco and Ayala.

Meh, at Pacheco and Ayala.

But our two main strikers are playing Copa America (July 1–July 24) and the Euro U21 Championship (11 - 25 June) respectively.

Suarez will be proper fucked when he returns.

Thoughts?

If we don't get 5th and f.a cup final pending, he may not have to play until the end of August, so i don't think he'll be too bad. (Suarez that is)

Carroll's missed 2-3 months injured this season. Playing in a tournament where he will score a few goals and get his fitness up ready for the new season might not be a bad thing.

I don't like the idea of Suarez playing in July.

Suarez hasnt really been over worked this season, he missed 7 games when he was banned and since his move he has played 5 games i think

Despite him not playing that much this season, Summer tournaments disrupts pre season training.
New players come in and they have to "gel" with their new team-mates especially on the pitch.

Read that us, Arsenal and Chelsea will be involved in a pre-season tour of Malaysia, so that's not exactly much rest for the team either having to travel all the way down here in the searing heat.

That's called pre-season friendlies and it's more of a team vacation.

I'm sure many players look at it as a team vacation but I'd say there'd be quite a few fans who'd take their tour pretty seriously.

There'll be fans flying in from all over Asia for this.

Rafa took a decent strength team on the Singapore tour and I dont think things would be very different this time.

Yeah with pre-season friendlies. It's not like the players are all sitting at Bangkok national bank headquarters discussing investments.

The club makes very little money from this tour; it's basically PR for the millions of fans who'll never get to see the team play otherwise. I'm sure many may scoff but if they could see how much this meant to a lot of people they might take it a but more seriously.

Aye. I almost jizzed my pants getting to see Fowler play the other day. Me and me mates (and one was a Man Utd fan) were all "Fucking hell, that's actually God!". And all he actually did that particular time was do some limb stretches in the middle of the pitch while a crowd of about 200 fans from LSCM sang Fields Of Anfield Road.
