Just asking.

Since Kenny joined he's barely played.

Despite his young age I think it's pretty evident that he doesn't have a future at Liverpool.
I hope I'm wrong.

Would be good for him if to go out on loan, like Pacheco did, to a Championship team.

Re: Ngog added to the list of goners?

I don't think he's "sh!te" but I do think he doesn't deserve to be more than fourth choice, and we haven't needed to dig down that deep since the King arrived to work his magic. Not fussed whether he goes or stays TBH.

Re: Ngog added to the list of goners?

The last time I seen him play was a month or so ago in the reserves.
He didn't look like he had found his level then either.

Re: Ngog added to the list of goners?

I think he has talent but Kenny doesn't seem to rate him much. Perhaps he doesn't try a leg in training, perhaps he ignores coaching or match day instructions, perhaps Kenny thinks he's not tricky enough for a skillful front man and not physical enough to lead the line and not unselfish enough to play in a front two or smart enough to play between the lines. Perhaps.

Re: Ngog added to the list of goners?

I'd have called it ........................... 'Going Going Ngone?'

Good thinking Asbo, can one of the mods change the title please?

Re: Ngog added to the list of goners?

Not good enough for the prem team maybe europa or carling ??

don't rate him, never have, never gonna be close to good enough imo.

hopefully we'll get £3-4m for him.

He's not awful but not great. To be fair to him he has scored a few goals here and there but he certainly isn't good enough to start.

On one hand it wouldn't be a disaster to have him as back up but on the other hand, given that he was playing semi-regularly at the start of the season, he probably wouldn't want to be back up so we might as well cash in while we still can. I doubt his value will go up much!

Good work on the thread title.

Yeah, he definitely seems on his way, which is no bad thing I don't think. He has the potential to be a decent striker, but he needs to play regularly to attempt to get to that level and he's not good enough to be playing regularly at Liverpool.

Hopefully we'll get a good fee for him or a good loan with a view to increasing a potential fee.

I think me mate Dougie had it right when he said Ngog reminded him of "a dog chasing a balloon round a park"

Haha. I liked it when someone said, 'watching Jova was like watching a player on FIFA, controlled by someone who was playing it for the first ever time".
