Massive 6 games and I fear we will be some way from the top 4 and out of CL by Christmas. We are missing numerous key players, mostly creative, and we are leaking goals for fun. I know we all subscribe to the 'one game at a time' approach, but I fear November could be worse than October.

I think we should get used to looking up at Villa, Spurs and City

There is a real chance we may end up 7th this season, the current top 6 are better than us at the mo.

Well Fox, my old chum, that much is evident by the fact that they are all above us.

If we do end up 7th in the league (which I doubt, but God only knows) then surely Benitez would jump before he was pushed.

Well, City and Everton have been in shite form too, and Blackburn and Debrecen are just shite generally, so it's hardly impossible we can win a few of those games. If we can get Gerrard back to full fitness and Carra back on form, it'll be a big help. A lot will also depend on how Aquilani settles into the team. All we need is one win though, and the hope and confidence will come flooding back. Too late for the PL or CL titles, sadly, but still...

I think we may be outside of the top four for the next couple of months alright.
We may even stay as low as 7/8 looking at our league fixtures.
But I can't see how there is a 'real' chance of finishing there Fox.
We have far too much quality in our squad to finish below Villa, Spurs or any of the other also-rans.

And it will be hughley dependent on how long Torres is out. If he misses 1 or 2 games, then things could turn out a bit better.
 
Jesus what a tough run of games that is considering our injuries and shitness in general at the moment.

We really need Gerrard to come to life and show us he once again why he is the greatest Liverpool player ever.

We were one man team before and I would take it again for the next 6 games until we get some players back from injury.

With Torres and Yossi out I'd rather we play Gerrard in the middle in a 442 and let him just roam and try and create something on his own.

We don't have much else.

A settled back four, any back four would be good. It's virtually impossible to chop and change every week and expect to be solid or have confidence as a unit.

In terms of squad depth I'm not sure we are that far ahead of Spurs and we are behind Man City.
