Normally I watch a lot of football but I have found it difficult to follow any other team this season due to work commitments.

Loads of interesting managerial appointments were made in the summer. How are they all doing?

Solbakken at Wolves (KHL?)

Laudrup at Swansea (KHL?)

Steve Clarke at WBA

Lambert at Villa

Villanova at Barca

Pellegrino at Valencia

AVB at Spurs.

Any promising manager in other leagues?

AVB at spurs slightly interests me as he was linked so heavily with us and bought a few players we were after . They've 4 wins in a row now including an away win at united so I guess you have to say he's doing ok so far .He's obviously done alot more in the game than brendan and managed at the highest level . Time will tell if we made the right choice .

Clarke also becuase we had him and i guess easily could have promoted him if we wanted . They've miles ahead of us too !!

They were both in relatively good form anyway though before those managers took over, Spurs have a very strong squad with alot of match winners (so did Chelsea, I know), and WBA had a good setup in place and were playing good football under Hodge. They've both done ok so far, better than Rodgers, but it'll be interesting to see how it pans out in the long term.
