I really like it. I know it's just a picture, but the fabric looks alot better than in recent years, where it used to pull and fray quite easily. This looks quite similar in style to the newer National kit type of material.

I'm going to with hold judgement until I feel it.

Does anyone know why they don't make kits out of cotton? Is there a reason they generally use the shitty nylon/polyester whatever?

Regarding the new kit on the online store. Can anyone remember if the last kit when launched said 2010-12 on the online store as this one says its the 2012/13 kit, leading me to believe it may only be a one season job and we may join most other clubs in changing every season.

Cos it looks closest to the actual kits the players wear, which are, contrary to popular opinion, made of different stuff that costs a lot more to make.

They're also very often fitted to that player if they're a first teamer.

Apparently it is changing every 12 months now.

Really? That explains the 'clima cool' label that the current crop of tops have attached to them when in reality they should have a label saying 'sweaty as a glass blowers arse'.

I'm guessing that it's something to do with still having a contract with adidas until the end of the season but still it's a bit strange that nowhere has Warrior's name been mentioned . It's nowhere to be seen on the liverpool site bar obviously in the pictures .
Considering this is their first outing into the football market i would have thought they would have been hyping this launch to high heaven . Anyway fair fucks to them , they've designed a top shirt .

I gather the club must have come up with the idea to revert to a simpler liver bird badge . It's a welcome move , most likely with a hint of branding practices behind it also .
The flames with the 96 are a nice touch also , perhaps if they didn't have to stick stupid prem league badges on the sleeves they could have gone there where they would be noticed more .

Cheers,

have you ordered from here?

what is the quality like?

Yeah, me and the lads use it for international tops and stuff for playing 5 a side. Some tend to fade quite quickly but my german one from the last WC is still in top nick. http://www.soccertriads.com/ is another one, never used it and the shirts are a bit more expensive. The new home kit is on it already though for £17 but it says it wont ship til late june.
