The wife's brother is coming over next month and he's asked her to get London tickets for some damn Arse game next month on the 22nd (vs Stoke I think)

So the missus gets 2 tickets; but the first place declines her credit card and emails her and says the transaction was unsuccessful etc..so she buys 2 tickets from somewhere else..about 5 days after she buys the tix the first lot of bastards say the transaction is now successful and she now has 4 fucking tickets and the brother's not going to take the additional 2 off.

Is there anything I can do?

The bastards are called OnlineTicketExpress; an the fuckers have refused to refund the money even though we've sent them all the mails.

Secondly, does anyone know any gooners who might want them?

Face value.

Hate to ask 🙁 on here, but I'm a bit stuck.

I thought this might have been about how to use paint

Sorry avvy, I don't know any gooners, or how you can get rid.

Try www.toutless.com

or perhaps the gunner who posts here the odd time might know someone.

Yeah, nornirongooner. Be worth sending him a message.

I work with a gooner who goes across occasionally and I will ask him if he is interested but I wouldn't get your hopes up Avvy.

...or maybe asking the mods if they'd forward an e-mail?

You can call the bank and ask them to reverse the transaction, and fuck their ticket back off to those guys.

This is their fault. I love shouting at Credit card people...

In the end though, i always get fucked over by them....it's inevitable. So i'll take every little chance available to shout at them.

Thanks,Dave 🙁

It's really shitty; it's not like we can afford to throw away money like this.

I dont know if its worth it to go to the police or something.

OUr bank has refused to reverse the bill and have said we're welcome to fill out a complaint for them to investigate.

Arsenal.

Can you fuking believe it?

I hate that little shit brother of hers too.

I'll get ours done soon too mate.

Not the police, I wouldn't have thought, but either Norfolk County Council Trading Standards Dept.or the local press might be an option.

I've tried,mate.

Fuckers have said they'll investigate if we file a complaint; but it's a Malaysian bank and it 'll take months.

I dont have the tickets yet; but the fuckers need my wife to sign and fax some fucking formto them to authorize delivery.

We could refuse but the money's already been taken out.

I'm going to email them saying I heard this story and I'll never use them and won't recommend anybody I know to use them.

Most I can do. Sorry.

Do you have anything in writing from the first crowd to say the first transaction was unsuccessful?

Dave : yeah, I have an email saying the credit card was declined and telling my wife to use another card.

We sent back their email, but no dice.

You're the lawyer, but I'd have thought that e-mail was pretty good evidence. Get down to Trading Standards and/or the newspaper office in the morning.

Surely you have grounds for complaint if they gave you written confirmation that the initial transaction didn't go through?

You didn't agree to buy them the second time around. I'd be pissed off mate.

It's not local though; I think it's an Irish company.

I guess I could try Trading Standards but I'm not sure if they'd be able to help.

The Bank will of course refuse mate. What did you think? They will happily oblige?

You must kick a fuss. When you are talking to the first customer consultant demand to speak to his/her manager. Then when you are speaking to the next one, demand to speak to his/her manager....tell them this is the case and you will go to trade union council/ or explore options to sue.

They will definitely say that they would discuss and call you back within certain amount of time. But don't wait up...call them again in about half an hour. They usually givein after a couple of phone calls.

You are the only person losing out anything out of this and it's not your fault. If they reverse the transaction, no one is losing out anything. Those guys still have their tickets to sell.

Will try it, but it's Maybank.

It's these cunts btw

Re Trading Standards - again, I'm no expert, but the contract of sale was made here, so I'd have thought they'd have jurisdiction on that basis. If not (or maybe even at the same time), the press might still be worth a try if the offending company cares about its reputation enough. Depends how much trouble you're prepared to go to really.

Avvy,

Just had a look at some of the reviews for these guys. They are not very popular
[/quote]

Could well be a scam and a way of getting rid of double the amount of tickets

Thanks,Andy....appreciate it...

The face value is apparently 74 pounds each or something (something called Category 1)...I havent a clue if that's the actual face value or if that's a markup on something.

Yup, at the Emirates.
