I noticed that Reina was an unused sub in their last 2 league games. In between these games, I think he missed the crunch CL tie against the Gunners due to injury (report I've read just said he didn't train).
Any idea if he was dropped due to poor performances, or just sidelined due to his injury?

Napoli and Rafa can fuck off with any more loan deals. 12m for Agger or get lost. If Agger were to leave for that price (and I'd prefer him to stay), that will have been a net spend of 6m for a direct replacement in a young left footed international centre back which would make the 18m feel a lot better.

Agger on loan - no problem, as long as the loan fee is 10 million.

We bought Mignolet to replace him cos we (& he himself) thought he was fucking off to Barca, & when he didn't we needed him off the wage bill as we couldn't afford both & him sitting on the bench would only decrease his value.
Agreed, he can go in the summer and for a fee.
I think long term Agger won't be a first choice CB here but I wouldn't let him go this season.

In January, I'd like us to keep everyone here, except the two players on loan who can go back to where they came from. Loan out a couple of youngsters who could use some minutes (Ibe, Ilori, etc.) but keep the rest, even if they're not getting minutes right now.
Rodgers has demonstrated that he's by and large fair to players who can come in from the cold and perform a job; I'd prefer us to keep the team together for the rest of the season except for the obvious misfits.
