Again, I thought every one played reasonably well, Nunez wasn’t shit (when he was inside) and was unlucky not to score.

Robbo, apart from one fuck up was good.

Gomez & Gravy are just consistently good and CJ & Macca worked hard.

Ali could have popped home early to get the BBQ fired up, or pulled a couch into the pitch and taken a nap for most of the game.

I’ve seen Trent criticised, but didn’t think he was that bad, some good whipped in crosses that weren’t far off getting a goal - the crosses were fine, just the cards didn’t get on the end of them - lazy shot on goal, but fine otherwise - I think sometimes people just look for an excuse to get on his back.

Can I just say that this is a game where Gakpo was so far ahead in getting the MOTM award from whoever, might be the next best player in any of our listings. I think we are now seeing the real Gakpo - it was a perfect winger's game - he was unbelievable in that game in his overall performance - and really deserved that 2nd goal had they had given it. The type of performance he gave today was very much like what we saw of the best of Nico Williams for Spain in the Euro's. Right now for that position we cannot get a better winger.
