My uncle spoke to him at a charity dinner in the summer before Roy came in and he told my uncle Hodgson was going to be the manager of choice.

Molby also said that once the club was sold, we were allegedly "grooming" another manager, who he said was either going to be Villa Boas or Deschamps.

It's most probably either bullshit or just improbable, but i thought i'd share it anyway.

Well Big Jan is "in the know" considering how close he is to the club AND he does tell it how it is. When I met him in March me and him had a "lively" chat about Benitez and his transfer policy from the last January window. He shoots straight from the hip.
