Does anyone know if we are really trying to re-sign him ? Every few days i see it mentioned in another paper .

I guess some people will be pissed off if we re-sign him on the basis that it's "embarrassing" because we just let him go . But to be honest i think we should try to go the European way with alot more of these young players , let them go on loan for full seasons or two or sell them on with repurchase clauses . A lot of big clubs do this and it makes sense , a player you have doubts about can really kick on with first team football and if they do then there is no harm re-signing them .
 
If the only reason that some don't want him back is because he was once ours and it would look a little silly, well, frankly, that's a little silly. If he's good and the price is right, go get 'im.
 
I think the rebate is a load of bollocks. It's just not going to apply if we buy him is it, they just increase the value accordingly.
