I hope not. His attitude stinks [he didn't get chances because he did nothing to merit them], he thinks he's about five times as good as he is and we have better prospects coming through as it is [and why is McParland scouting when Ince won't deign to have anything to do with McParland's part of the club?].

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to bring Thomas Ince back to the Kop – just over a year after the 20-year-old was given away.
Rodgers is keen to do a deal for the young England star – son of former Anfield midfielder Paul – and is lining up a £5million offer.
Ince left Liverpool on a free transfer because he was fed up at his lack of opportunities under Rodgers' predecessors.
He joined Blackpool in August last year, and has since blossomed for club and country.
The attacker is now being chased by several Premier League sides, including Liverpool's arch-rivals Manchester United.

But Anfield lead the hunt, and their top spy Frank McParland watched Ince dazzle for England's Under-21s in their win over Northern Ireland at Blackpool on Tuesday.
Rodgers is not worried about the fact that Ince was allowed to leave the Kop so recently as it happened before his reign began.
Ironically, Liverpool are entitled to 35 per cent of his sale price.

Tom nor his Dad could agree terms with LFC . So he joined Blackpool NS has done well

Just tweeted by Kenny.

The Spanish clubs seemed to insert buy back clauses to their youngsters.

We could do with something like that.

Considering he was ours only a short time ago makes the fact we are going to pay anything for him a pain in the nuts.

As I said only we could manage to put ourselves in this position

Yeah, for 3,5 or 5 mill I'd look elsewhere. As Macca said he has a bit of an attitude problem and think very highely of himself. No thanks

Him and his dad were making unreasonable demands, demands which at the time the club thought were unreasonable. Foresight is an incredible thing. He's grown, the decision makers at the club have changed.....
Looks a decent player but I wouldn't be breaking the bank for him.

I have no issue with it.
I know gkM, has info that he has an attitude, but personally, I don't think he was handled well when he was here to be honest, and a bit of an ego is not awlays a bad thing in a player.
He was clearly one of the youth team that did have something about him, had he had a decent chance, or even a bit of a chance as a carrot , as Sterling and one or two others have had of late, the negotiations might have been easier.
Clearly the stance him and his dad took was the right one for him, he got games and became noticed, and now we are happy to have him back.
If he is a decent player and worth the money, I have not got an issue with buying him back regardless of the fact we gave him away, there is no point in cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Vlad's verdict : buy if the price is right

regards

We should get involved in a bidding war for him with Utd, City and Chelsea. Drive the price up then pull out at the last minute leaving Chelsea or City to pay £10million + with 35% coming our way.

if we have a sell on clause when we let him go, does that mean we get half our money back were we to bid for him? is this an ingenious FSG financial ploy?
