Millwall moving?

I feel sorry for the Eastenders. They had all their old houses and pubs taken off them by the Docklands Development Corporation and and turned into a gentrified yuppie paradise. No wonder the BNP is quite popular there. Now some mysterious development company with links to the Labour Party wants to bulldoze their football ground.

You can hardly blame the council for wanting that bunch of cunts relocated far away from their borough.

I drove past goodison for the first time in ages the other day, as you drive up from county Road I noticed a large building with a huge mural of Duncan Ferguson across the front of the glass atrium added to the front.

Firstly the idea of a glass atrium round there made me laugh, then secondly I almost crashed when I saw a large Everton badge & the words 'Everton free school'.

Is it actually a school setup just for Evertonians? I do hope so. I then went on a little tangential daydream picturing all the classes they could take, such as 'Why we WOULD have won the European Cup if it weren't for that lot over there'.

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT FROM EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB?
Everton Football Club will support the Free School with generous ‘in kind’ investments. The ethos and philosophy of the Club will inform our values within the School – teamwork, dedication and commitment.

What dreadful wording and how very typically Everton, that makes it sound like it's a place free of Everton fans, not a school exclusively for Evertonians.

They ain't strictly Eastenders, Lewisham is about as far South East as you can get before it turns into Kent. And they're BNP just cos they're a bunch of racist cunts - all round those parts, Bromley, Beckenham, Chislehurst, Eltham, Mottingham - compared to a lot of places in London they're pretty lilywhite - certainly compared to Lewisham, but the people are racist as fuck.

They're just knuckle-dragging fucktards

That's the main part. I've heard not great things about Millwall and the fans over the years, but a compulsory purchase order, just so it can be sold on to a development company is insane. I thought those could only be pushed through for roads/governement developments etc.

I went to an away game with my local team, Aldershon Town, a few years ago. It was crazy - we got an official email from the club telling us to wear club colours to 'avoid trouble' but the craziest part was the journey from the station to the ground. There is a special path for away supporters straight from train station to ground, that was full of police the whole way. All fans were in the top tiers as a few weeks before the Milwall fans had busted out and charged into the bottom tier of the away end.

Post game, we got back to London Bridge station and that is when things kicked off - not purely because of Milwall. This was a train scheduling calamity and Southampton had been away at Crystal Palace the same time and a train of Saints fans arrived on the opposite side of the platform. I don't think there is even a rivalary here but some dickhead chants of "there's only one team in hampshire" started and these 4 different sets of fans all started kicking off in the station.

It was a sight to behold.

Anyway - as mentioned above, the area is starting to get popular because of its small breweries and its street markets making it quite a nice place to venture of a weekend so the quicker they get rid of shite like this the better in my opinion.

I heard on 5-live the other night that the blueslime are looking at moving, and the council have offered to spend 20mill on a road for them at their new location?! So they'll spend 20mill on the road network and transport links for us to go 60k capacity too?

Millwall fans know that Millwall isn't in Hampshire, right?

Yeah, but not through this method. This is corruption+.

Greenwich is encroaching, is it?

The really weird thing about the Lewisham/Greenwich border (or at least it was when I lived around there), is that if you're going down the Old Kent Road, one side of the street noticeably turned into Greenwich about 200m before the other. So all of a sudden you've got yummy mummies and graphic designers one one side and scummy mummies and rude bwoys on the other

Yes with the connivance of bluenose Mayor Joe Anderson they are planning a new stadium in Bramley-Moore dock, which is a Victorian dock between the Pier Head and the modern docks system.

You couldn't think of a worse place to site a football stadium. No decent road access, no nearby railway station - and if you put your stadium on a riverbank, it obviously prevents access from one side.

Bluenose Joe has indeed promised a road, and he is now promising a railway station too. His justification is that there ought to be a railway station there anyway, because of all the economic developments there are going to be in the area.

Yeah, which is completely different to using an existing railway line & station to open approximately quarter of our city that has no rail access whatsoever & loads of residences & businesses, which Anfield happens to be almost smack in the middle of.

Corrupt fucks.
