"Despite the fact that Andy Carroll won a really good header with his first touch on Sunday and Dirk Kuyt is currently deadlier from 20cm than a black widow with the Ebola virus (we're not sure that is deadly, it may just be ill) Liverpool are on the hunt for another striker. They're willing to stump up for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic. Spurs are also interested as they're down to their last 383 fit strikers too."

I've not seen him play but i badly have the cunt smashing goals in on FIFA 11.

Anyone?

27 years old, will be 28 when the new season starts. Massive wages and a big transfer fee. With Carroll, Kuyt and Suarez I dont think one more expencive striker is what we need.

I think he's a great player, but I doubt we'll sign him. There are other areas we need to splash the cash on and thats why it wont happen.
 
Mirko Vucinic is a fantastic striker, and quite underrated.

He'd be a brilliant pick up for us.

He has it all - left & right foot, speed, techinque, heading ... Complete striker.
 
I wouldnt mind him as a signing but Im always weiry of players coming from serie A! prime example is Aquilani! great players but can they cut it in the fast and physical premiership?

You've probably seen him play more than I have so how good would he be as a wide forward? I know he has played that role sometimes before and his attributes would seem to fit perfectly for it.
 
It would be nice to be going after another striker as it would surely put an end to Ngog's Liverpool career. Fingers crossed.
 
We need a new CB, a new CM (plus Adams for depth), a new RW ... and Deadly becomes back-up to Carrol with N'Gog #3. If there's enough dosh leftover maybe a LB but TBH I'm happy with Kelly, Johnson and Aurelio.

We don't need to spend big money on a striker until those other slots have been filled.

fucking hell, what has happened to Q Spaz this thread? I can understand what he is on about and his keyboard seems to have been fixed, it don't seem right somehow........... the jebend 😉

He can play anywhere across the front, but his favoured side is on the left.

There's no real weakness in his game that stands out.

I'd love to have him at Liverpool, he's got the same fighting qualities as Suarez.

I wouldn't be suprised at all if Vucinic wants to leave Roma.

The only real obstacle would be the transfer fee ... Vucinic is halfway through his 4 year contract, and Roma signed him for 12M from Lecce. Since then he's been an important player for them so they'll be looking to sell him for around 15M-20M.
