Melwood mole

Just read the article, there's houses overlooking it. Has to be someone in there, given that it's been happening no matter which manager and staff we have. It would be fairly easy to work out from there.

Could be Keegan:

"I'd love to be a mole on the wall in the Liverpool dressing room at half-time."

Could be Blatter:

"Blatter, sporting a large plaster after apparently having a mole removed from his face..."

Nah, the training pitch used for pre game is pretty central & the 4.5m wall is easily high enough to cover it.

I've heard it's some staff member, an older fella, from a few people. Hard to believe that it's that well known & he hasn't been sacked though.

Yeah, I've heard that too. Although someone said he was security, and another said a general maintenance groundsman type of fella.

Which sounds a bit like nobody's quite sure

Isn't this a bit like making molehill out of a mountain? I imagine other teams also having their team leaked prior to matches, but does this really effect preparations? It's not like we'll suddenly turn up playing the Anfield mascot in central defense to throw the other team off guard.

We arguably did just that against Watford.

Reminds me of the old one about a copper patrolling outside Goodison on match day who looks up, sees a fan climbing over the wall and yells up at him "GET BACK IN THERE!".

Remember that dude at the 86 cup final, swinging between the wembley towers and just about climbing in above a fall to certain death? Well that was my wife's brother. He used to play for Everton at one point too.

You're talking about him in the past tense, did he try something equally death defying later and fail?
