It seems like we have a defence and Suarez, no midfield.

The only creativity coming from whatever Luis can muster, same old shit tbh.

We're neutralizing nothing. They're sitting back and let us do fuck all in midfield and then they nab us and counter attack.

A team of Chelsea's stature and playing a home is playing with a counter attacking approach? Oh yes, that definitely has nothing to do with what we're doing to them.

Looking at the Chelsea team its clear that we're miles away from being a top team.

Looking at the Chelsea team it's clear that buying a plethora of 25-35m young attacking talent (and a 50m striker) buys a wonderful counter-attacking side.

It feels like most posters on here would complain if they won a $100,000 lotto prize because they missed out on the $500,000 prize.

Why can't they all be like Fabio and FFF?

Terry's got to bit out for the season.
Suarez btw should have been given a free kick for that shove from Ramirez that caused the injury.

Wisdom is soooo uncomfortable on the ball it's unreal.
He was far more confident before. He's only young and needs more time. As it is he's a pretty big liability at the back today.

Inexperience showing for wisdom a lot that half, he made 4 errors that could have cost us a goal.

Not slagging him off, as he's young & cb is a hard position to play when you'd as we've seen over the years in any side, but he's a risk.

Jones has improved his decision making about coming out or staying put.

Allen is mentally tired & needs a rest, he's way better than this.

Upfront suarez is stranded. Sterling can't get forward enough & their defence is good enough to be able to predict his runs & double up.

Enrique has been gash.

The 3 at the back hasn't worked, Wisdom looks totally out of his depth in a game like this, but Agger too (and not just on the goal) has looked unsure at times. Sahin has been crap, and has conceded possession at least a half dozen times. The problem is without going more 4-5-1 and a couple of players stepping up a bit (Allen, Sahin; especially as they've just walked through the middle for the most part), I can't see how we'll get back into this.

Allen is always on the move and puts his foot in.

Sahin is static.

Hope he can step up in the second half

Well too bad we blew it all on Downing, Henderson and Carroll.

1. Is jones capable of playing the ball short? EVERY time he kicks, he kicks it long, straight to them and we're straight back under pressure.

2. We've got zero penetration. None of our midfield look like creating anything for Suarez. Allen and sahin have done sweet fuck all as usual.

Apart from Suarez doing something magical and digging us out of the shit, a 1-0 loss is looking like a decent result at this stage, as it could end up a cricket score.

It's getting more worrying every week. 60+% possession every game, no penetration and we draw or lose. The opposition have problem at all letting us give them 'death by football', which is actually death by boredom - we bore them to death in our 2/3rds of the pitch and then turn back as soon as we get near theirs.

They're sitting back and let us do fuck all in midfield and then they nab us and counter attack.

Pretty much what everyone is doing against us now they have figured out our game plan of 'pass, pass, pass some more, move forward slowly and leave space between the midfield and center backs'

I don't get the Şahin hate - played out of position, no one to pass to bar Suarez - yah he's shit, 'failed' at Real Madrid, so he's shit.

well i mentioned when he signed that my german mates , one who both played and scouts at a very high level , said he was 'good but nothing special' . they could of course be wrong but so far i don't see anything that suggests they are.

What is his position anyway ? he's a midfielder , are players so limited nowadays they can't do a decent job just slightly out of position ? .

He's a deep lying playmaker ... LUCAS will fix all, that's what we have to pray for.
