While I can understand people's concern about Carra's inclusion in the starting line up to an extend I wonder why he is getting the nod ahead of Coates.
Last season it was a stick to beat Kenny with claiming he was being too sentimental in sticking with Carra.
So why is Rodgers playing him then?

But he can be a real threat in set pieces etc. Not sure what's better for us.

I think it's a decent call in an away game with 2 other centre backs, experience and all that. Hindsight will tell us how it turns out though....

I suppose with Reina out there is a certain lack of organisation in the defense that Carra will hopefully sort out.

Perhaps, but what is not useful are the rugby tackles that he has largely got away with for the past few years. He exposes the team to the concession of a penalty or a sending off.
