But apparently it's Henderson whose signed a new 5 year contract.

Pretty much me, good player but expected, will probably progress to become a squad player over the length of that contract, which is fine. The one we really care about is Mane though, hurry up and sign him up.

I think it’s those “somewhere in the middle” players that somehow become divisive. Take Lucas - everyone pretty much saw what he was and wasn’t: a limited player, but useful for certain things. And yet the debates raged for years. Hendo is probably the closest we have to a divisive player in the current squad, so “marmite,” I think, is quite fitting. Plus both marmite and Hendo are very, very British.

For what it’s worth, I’m kind of in the middle on both.
