A friend of mine, my old boss, is an ex-marine and currently a pirate assassin somewhere out in the indian ocean by somalia.
He posted on facebook asking his friends to sign a petition to free 'Marine A', this chap who executed an unarmed Afghan POW, and they want him released, without charge, that's what the petition is for.
Would you sign it?
I don't think I can stomach it. Should we be executing unarmed POW's? I'm not sure the British public would stomach an Afghan invasion force landing on our shores, and then executing our troops when they're unarmed (much like Lee Rigby). We shouldn't be in Afghanistan for a start.
